Community is part of my design. Prior to my time in the insurance world, I was a police officer here in the DFW area for over a decade. I had the privilege of serving as a Patrol Officer, Patrol Sergeant and Patrol Lieutenant during my time in Law Enforcement. I was a member of the Department SWAT team, serving as a Breacher for 3 years before my promotion at which time I became the Team commander. I also served as a Field Training Officer, Firearms Instructor, Rapid Response to Active Shooter Instructor and Armorer. I currently own/operate Lone Star Shooting Academy, a mobile shooting school specializing in the Texas LTC course as well as beginner and intermediate firearms training. I am also a certified Instructor with US/Texas Law Shield, a legal defense company for gun owners and LTC holders across the country.

I was called to Law Enforcement, firearms instruction and also insurance by my protective nature and am very passionate about helping others learn to protect themselves physically and financially.
