Community is part of my design. Prior to my time in the insurance world, I was a police officer here in the DFW area for over a decade. I had the privilege of serving as a Patrol Officer, Patrol Sergeant and Patrol Lieutenant during my time in Law Enforcement. I was a member of the Department SWAT team, serving as a Breacher for 3 years before my promotion at which time I became the Team commander. I also served as a Field Training Officer, Firearms Instructor, Rapid Response to Active Shooter Instructor and Armorer. I currently own/operate Lone Star Shooting Academy, a mobile shooting school specializing in the Texas License To Carry course as well as beginner and intermediate firearms training. I am also a certified Instructor with US/Texas Law Shield, a legal defense company for gun owners and LTC holders across the country.
I was called to Law Enforcement, firearms instruction and also insurance by my protective nature and am very passionate about helping others learn to protect themselves physically and financially. I can also help you out with a Marketplace/ACA health plan. I am contracted to work with multiple insurance companies, to give me lots of options to help you find the right fit for you. I am passionate about helping you put together a great package of protection because when you are not worrying about unexpected expenses, you can focus on getting the care you need and enjoying your life!
I am licensed as a Life & Health agent in the state of Texas, and have been in the insurance industry since 2006. My insurance skills have expanded from Property & Casualty Insurance Adjuster and now with health, Medicare, Marketplace/ACA and life insurance.
